Sometimes you run across information about online "universities" that is laughable. Such an institution is Belford University, a notorious diploma mill that everyone with active brain cells should avoid.![]()
Belford's sales pitch is as follows: "Earn a degree in 7 days, 100% approval guaranteed, offering "accredited" Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees. Free lifetime "verification."
Isn't this enough to make you fall out of your chair laughing? A doctorate in 7 days? Yet somehow people are sucked into this scam.
I won't bore you with too many details about this college degree ripoff operation, but I would like to tell you more about the "life experience" doctorate. Here is what Belford days:
"Earning a doctorate on the basis of life experience or by submitting the Doctoral Thesis is a matter of days, not months of experience." Hmm. Seems too good to be true, doesn't it?
By the way, the cost of the doctorate is $549, which includes a diploma, two transcripts, one award of excellence and some other stuff.
Avoid this place.
